You can choose one or combine several for a successful label.
Matte labels are classic/vintage, Glossy labels have an added brightness, and the labels with glossy varnish (with full coverage or selective) are even more refined and elegant.
If you need your labels to be evon more eye-catching, they can be embellished with metallic foil.
The metallic foil can be gold, silver, or a different colour. Also, we can use holographic foil for an even more sophisticated look.
Do you need labels that should withstand special conditions?
We print labels that are resistant to water, liquids, alcohols and other chemical substances. Plastic lamination of the label is one of the best options in this case.
Also, we can produce labels that are resistant to freezing conditions, or to UV light decoloration. It all depends on the substrate materials on which they are printed, and on the adhesives that they have.
Labels can be printed on various substrates: Paper, Polyester, Polypropylene.
They can be also printed on a combination of laminated materials, like Paper+Polyethylene, or Polyester+Aluminium+Polyethylene etc., that give the label special functions, depending on the requirements of the product.
There are several types of adhesives.
The most usual are:
- permanent (it is widely used for most products)
- removable (they are easily peeled off from the product)
- wet adhesives (resistant to wet environments and low temperatures)
- strong adhesives (for labels that should be very hard to remove
from the product)
Security Labels or Seal Labels, which are destroyed when peeled off.
Multipage Labels are printed on a multilayer material, and they have a few pages printed on both sides. They are used in promotional and informative campaigns, for special offers, or for translations.
Non-Adhesive Tags, Neck hangers for bottles, Price Tags for clothing items.
Thermal labels, used in most supermarkets for the fruite and vegetables departments. Information about the product is added to them by thermal printers included in the electronic scales of the supermarket.
These labels have a 3D look and feeling.
This effect is created in 2 possible ways:
- with the die-cutting machine (physical deformation of the material)
- by applying a 3D transparent Varnish over the printed labels.
They are premium labels, which have a great look and feel on the product.
They are used on expensive products, like cosmetics, wine bottles, jewelry boxes etc.
Transparent Labels are used when it is necessary to see the product behind the label.
They are usually applied on bottles or bags.
They are printed on transparent polypropylene, and most of the time besides the normal colours, the addition of the white color to the background is required, without which the other colors cannot have the proper colour shade.
In this case, each printed label is different and unique.
The background is usually the same, but every label has a different code, or a different piece of information, or an image that make them unique to all the other labels in the same lot.
They are used in promotional campaigns, raffles, personal or corporate events, and they are printed on digital printing machines.
